Miss Fusion Parenting
Through coaching and consulting I help parents, schools and companies bring out the very best in our young people so they can face the ever shrinking world as responsible, independent young adults while retaining strong cultural values. Through 25 years of living and working in Hong Kong I have grown to love and respect Asian culture and so blend the best of East and West in my parenting approach. My fun, lively personality and straightforward approach helps my clients face what is possibly the most challenging but also most fulfilling aspects of their life – being a parent.
Carol has over 20 years experience working in training and development starting with training sales people in a company she ran with her husband. She “fell into” coaching their employees and decided to combine her passion for self development and children and became professionally qualified in 2006 with the Academy for Family Coach Training.
Carol lives life to the full in Hong Kong with her husband Jimmy and three children, Jess (17), Jordan (14) and Joshua (10). Most weekends she can be found cheering on her children at very various sporting events around Hong Kong.

The Teen Money Guy
Stuart Fleming is the guy who helps teenagers get their head around money – he created the Money Mindset Mob because he’s an enthusiastic believer in independent teens.
A professional speaker, workshop leader and teen money coach, his super-power is seeing the potential in people and situations.
I hear that often – people recognise my face but can’t pick the nose!
Either I have a fearless stunt-double or maybe we have met before… I volunteer as National Commissioner for Scouts New Zealand.
Or was it at Toastmasters, International Coach Federation, National Speakers Association, XL Results Foundation or Johnson & Johnson New Leaders Foundation?
The only place you won’t have seen me is at university. I’m living proof that going straight from school to tertiary study isn’t the only way to become successful. What a radical thought.

It is more than challenging to find great success raising a family influenced by the unique entrepreneurial world of film.
The film business consists of extremely long hours, bizarre schedules, strange distant locations, 6-day weeks and a continuous loop of “quiet on the set.” A film set is not a place for kids and movie making allows few accommodations for families.
As a family coach and consultant, I am uniquely qualified to share what I know to be true; to teach you what to say and what to do that will allow your film family to thrive.
Through my 2 decades of film, marriage and parenting, I have developed the mindset, the knowledge and the skills that will support you to put your family first and to overcome the significant obstacles hurled at you by the film industry.
My life, my husband’s life and my children’s lives have been forever changed by the ups and downs of the film business. Though very challenging at times, it has been all-good! We are better individuals and a stronger family for it.
Working with me, who knows first hand what it is really like, I can support you to stay healthy, happy and connected as a family.
I can guide you as you learn to:
• deal with a long distance marriage
• parent kids at different ages and stages when you are a two-parent home and when your spouse is away working and you find yourself single parenting
• develop powerful communication skills to use with your kids, your working spouse and your extended family, allowing everyone to stay on the same page
• set a tone of respect and honesty that frames every relationship you have
• encourage your family members to be empathetic and to recognize that you are only one person with limitations, while in turn, instilling in them the confidence to trust themselves, their own abilities and their own instincts
• learn to stay flexible and fluid given the free-lance nature of film
As your family experience is uniquely influenced by the trends of the Movie Making Business, make your family time together matter. Your family will not just survive everyday challenges complicated by the film business – it will thrive!
