Inspiring teen!

I love it when I find posts like this and this is from the wonderful Sue Scheff’s Blog.

Most 14 year-olds are playing sports, listening to their music, going to movies and simply hanging with their friends. A smaller number of 14 year-olds are thinking about what they want to be when they grow up, or what college they want to attend.

Then there is Jason O’Neill with 14 years of dreaming, creating and succeeding! Yes, at 14 years old Jason already has started his own business and created an organization that gives back! During this past holiday season, Jason O’Neill made it his mission to give 250 bears to children at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA.

Our Young Girls need this

51QOEqpibwL._SL500_AA240_It is very rarely I recommend books but this book on happiness and self esteem for youth is definitely worth getting your hands on.

Now saying that mine only just arrived ( the joys of living in the U.K.) so I cannot review it yet, however what I can say is that the author Gabrielle Bernstein is an inspiration lady on a mission and I totally can support that.

Youth who have caught my attention this week.

13 year old Dionne Bromfield’s performance on Strictly Come Dancing blew me away and I have rushed out and bought her album…..I love it one to watch out for definitely.

Also Charlie McDonnell you tuber  who I have only just come across, real inspiration. All kudos to teens speaking out

17 year old becomes youngest to sail the world

Teenager Mike Perham sails into the record books after round-the-world voyage.

A 17-year-old boy became the youngest person to sail solo around the world. Mike Perham crossed the finishing line between Lizard Point and Ushant, France, in his boat Totallymoney.com , escorted by the Royal Navy guard ship HMS Mersey.

“I’ve made it, I’ve made my dream come true and it feels amazing,” he exulted.
