The Times paints a grim view for our UK Graduates
Here is a exert from a recent news story
Baker and his housemates are being hit by an unprecedented combination of events. The government’s drive to increase university education means this year a record 400,000 graduates are joining the jobs market.
This age group are also the first graduates to have paid the full £3,000 annual tuition fee for the whole of their studies. Many are leaving university with debts of more than £20,000. At the same time jobs are evaporating.
Unemployment rose by 39,000 last month, according to figures published last week. The number of people claiming unemployment benefits rose to 1.54m and a broader measure of people seeking work puts unemployment at 2.26m.
This is showing a grim story indeed. However I think despite what is happening in the economy that parents have and do pay for a wasted Education.
